Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and wiring requirements.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure strict compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and accurately using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe, adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License issued by the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under various environmental conditions.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
