Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure proper installation.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential safety hazards or code violations.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and requirements.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure longevity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting heavy equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
