Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored safely.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies from delivery vehicles.
- Learn to use power tools, test equipment, and hand tools under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to learn and a strong desire to succeed in the trades.
