Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks to ensure all wiring and fixtures meet local and national codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan wiring layouts effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Test and troubleshoot electrical circuits and components to diagnose and resolve faults efficiently.
- Assist in pulling wire, connecting fixtures, and terminating panel boards under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Willingness to obtain necessary Journeyman or Apprentice licenses through state certification programs.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics and physics is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during the workday.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a desire to learn the trade.
- No prior experience is necessary; we will train the right candidate.
