Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine the layout of wiring and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure systems are operating correctly.
- Ensure strict compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and building regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
