Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and job site safety.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to learn the trade and work hard is the #1 requirement.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for measurements and calculations.
- High School Diploma or GED: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure safe and accurate electrical work.
