Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults and resolve issues promptly.
- Adhere to all local and national electrical codes, OSHA safety regulations, and company protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and calculating material needs.
- Strong willingness to learn and obtain necessary electrical certifications.
- Problem-solving mindset and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work as part of a collaborative team.
