Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and organizing tools and materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to all local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the cleaning of tools and equipment after use.
- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical components.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods on various surfaces.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to safety.
