Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to local codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems to identify root causes.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, including testers, ammeters, and voltmeters.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuit breakers, and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to work in various environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and job sites.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
