Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical panels, wiring, and outlets to ensure compliance with safety codes.
- Test electrical systems and continuity to ensure proper functioning using multimeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems, including wiring faults and circuit overloads.
- Prepare and maintain accurate work orders, time logs, and project reports.
- Adhere to all local and national electrical codes and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are helpful.
