Job Overview
We are looking for motivated individuals to assist our senior electricians in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. If you have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Perform rough-in work, including pulling wire, installing junction boxes, and mounting electrical fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols and local codes are followed.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Operate power tools and electrical testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Communicate effectively with team members, foremen, and clients.
- Perform routine inspections and minor troubleshooting of electrical issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights (required).
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Valid Driverβs License and a clean driving record.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and a commitment to safety.
- Basic math skills for measuring lengths and calculating loads.
