Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan projects.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to ensure system reliability.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, strictly following OSHA safety regulations.
- Document all work performed accurately and communicate progress with project managers.
- Inspect existing electrical infrastructure to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging job data and ordering materials.
