Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on complex electrical equipment
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and NEC standards at all times
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Respond to emergency electrical outages with rapid deployment capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met
- Document all maintenance activities and prepare detailed service reports
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana Electrician license (Class B or higher)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with power distribution systems and control panels
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and NFPA 70E
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Must be available to work night shift (10 PM - 6 AM) with weekends as needed
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
