Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in industrial and commercial facilities
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to plan electrical installations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using diagnostic tools
- Ensure strict adherence to NEC codes and OSHA safety regulations
- Perform preventive maintenance on transformers, motors, and control systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete projects on schedule
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia Electrician Journeyman or Master license
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure night shift environments
- Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and power systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
