Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Perform diagnostics using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting protocols
- Adhere to NEC codes and safety standards during all operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for large-scale projects
- Document work orders and maintain accurate technical records
- Respond to emergency calls during shift hours with urgency and precision
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Texas electrical license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 5 years commercial/industrial experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina for climbing, lifting, and confined space work
- Experience with PLC systems and VFD installation preferred
