Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on complex electrical equipment
- Ensure compliance with all National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during after-hours operations
- Document all maintenance activities and system modifications
- Respond promptly to emergency electrical service calls
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience required
- Valid Louisiana Electrician Journeyman License
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in conduit bending, wiring, and power distribution systems
- Strong diagnostic skills for troubleshooting complex electrical faults
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts and weekends
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
