Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment during night shift hours.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute accurate wiring and system configurations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults using advanced testing meters and diagnostic software.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, reporting inventory needs and safety hazards immediately.
- Collaborate with day-shift supervisors and cross-functional teams to address system outages or upgrades.
- Document all maintenance activities, work orders, and time logs accurately in our CMMS system.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building codes.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
- Proficiency with power tools, test equipment, and computerized maintenance management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina required for the role.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
