As a Night Shift Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining critical infrastructure, ensuring power reliability, and upholding the highest safety standards in a 24/7 operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical systems and apparatus in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Conduct thorough inspections and preventive maintenance tasks during the night shift to prevent downtime and ensure facility safety.
- Interpret and utilize blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute electrical projects accurately and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and diagnostic software.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Document all work performed, including time logs and material usage, for payroll and inventory tracking.
Qualifications
- Certified North Carolina Journeyman Electrician License (Essential).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, and variable frequency drives is highly preferred.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with high energy and minimal supervision.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a skilled trades team.
