Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine the layout and wiring of electrical circuits.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure they operate correctly and safely.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, replacing or repairing faulty components as necessary.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required if you have the right attitude.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and material quantities.
- A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Availability to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
