Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including wiring, termination, and fixture installation under supervision.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure workplace safety.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Communicate effectively with the shift lead and team members regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail are highly preferred.
- Willingness to learn and obtain required Journeyman or Apprentice certifications.
