Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and emergency backup systems
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for precise installations
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on complex electrical networks using advanced testing equipment
- Ensure strict adherence to NFPA 70E safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with facility management to minimize operational disruption during night shift operations
- Document all maintenance activities and system modifications in digital maintenance logs
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years commercial electrical experience with night shift preference
- Valid Georgia Journeyman Electrician license (or reciprocity eligibility)
- Proficient in reading technical diagrams and system schematics
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (30-hour preferred)
- Expertise in conduit bending, wire pulling, and circuit troubleshooting
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong diagnostic skills with multimeters, clamp meters, and power quality analyzers
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts during critical system upgrades
