Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency electrical repairs on commercial and industrial machinery and systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety standards, local building codes, and company protocols.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot lighting systems, motor controls, and power distribution units.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical hazards and prevent downtime.
- Document all work orders, time logs, and material usage accurately.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless project continuity.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification in the State of Kansas.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proficiency in using multimeters, circuit testers, and other diagnostic tools.
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical agility test.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts and weekends as needed.
