Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical wiring diagrams.
- Install, connect, and test electrical systems, circuits, and wiring.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain technical details and project status.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various environments.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and obtain journeyman licensure within a set timeframe.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurement tools.
