- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with contractors and clients for project completion
- Manage inventory and order necessary electrical materials
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid District of Columbia Electrician license (or reciprocal state license)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local regulations
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
