Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Perform new installations, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Blueprints & Schematics: Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to plan layouts.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical faults and issues using diagnostic testing equipment.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, providing updates and ensuring a high standard of workmanship.
- Site Safety: Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all OSHA safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in residential or commercial electrical work.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical theory and the NEC.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments (climbing ladders, attics, etc.).
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
