Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local electrical codes.
- Use hand and power tools safely to complete basic electrical tasks such as wiring, mounting outlets, and installing fixtures.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe according to OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and provide status updates on ongoing projects.
- Transport tools and materials to job sites efficiently.
- Document completed work and report any materials needed for restocking.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to enter the electrical trade is the primary requirement; formal experience is not mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
