Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues using advanced testing equipment and code knowledge.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and local building codes to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and clients.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan installations accurately.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on electrical systems.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain electrical tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas, secure necessary permits, and organize materials before starting projects.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical regulations.
- Tools: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic testing meters.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service oriented mindset.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: A valid, clean driving record and current driver's license are mandatory.
