Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial wiring installations.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Prepare materials and tools for daily projects under supervision.
- Install and maintain lighting fixtures, outlets, and switchgear.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (fractions, decimals) is helpful.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and climb ladders.
- A positive attitude and willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
