Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and control equipment in accordance with building codes and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Perform thorough troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining work to clients and answering questions regarding electrical systems.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, including proper storage of materials and tools.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the state of Texas.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional electrical experience.
- Skills: Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, voltage testers).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and local building codes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong work ethic.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
