Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and wiring in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults and mechanical issues.
- Ensure all work adheres to OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication regarding project status.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent trade certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Proficient in reading electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Virginia state codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
