Responsibilities
- Install & Repair: Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and local electrical codes to ensure a safe working environment.
- Tool Management: Properly inspect, maintain, and use electrical tools and testing equipment.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers to understand their needs and provide clear explanations of work performed.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan wiring layouts.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical faults and determine the most effective repair methods.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Attitude: Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
- Tools: Basic hand tools are a plus, but not mandatory if you are willing to learn.
