Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential safety hazards or code violations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NFPA 70E).
- Educate customers on energy efficiency and electrical safety best practices.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including multimeters, conduit benders, and drills.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding electrical schematics.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of OSHA safety standards and NFPA codes.
- Tools: Ability to operate all necessary electrical tools and testing equipment independently.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
