Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment according to local and national electrical codes.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic work on complex electrical circuits and control systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installation layouts.
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner, adhering to OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman or Master Electrician license (State of Illinois).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and electrical theory.
- Ability to read and understand technical blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
