Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, code violations, or defective components.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to prevent failures.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License (required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions, including heights.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
