Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Perform high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for residential and commercial properties.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults and mechanical issues quickly and accurately.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical concepts clearly to clients and ensuring satisfaction.
- Project Support: Assist in managing project timelines and ensuring work areas are left clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Virginia Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Tools: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic testing equipment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well in a team.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
