Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure code compliance
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to meet tight weekend deadlines
- Implement strict safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Perform system upgrades, repairs, and preventative maintenance on high-voltage equipment
- Document all work activities using digital reporting systems for client transparency
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Electrician License (Journeyman or Master required)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial/residential settings
- Proven expertise with NEC code requirements and local Houston regulations
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and system schematics
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex electrical systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
