Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage inventory and order materials for weekend projects
- Conduct safety inspections and implement hazard prevention measures
- Collaborate with project managers and team members for seamless execution
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid District of Columbia electrician license
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience with troubleshooting and complex electrical systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be available for Saturday/Sunday shifts (6 AM - 6 PM)
