Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Ensure strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Collaborate with project managers to execute weekend installations with precision
- Manage inventory and maintain organized toolsets for efficient weekend operations
- Document work orders and maintain detailed service reports
- Mentor junior technicians during weekend shift rotations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Illinois Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proven expertise with blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Strong commitment to weekend shift reliability and punctuality
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with energy-efficient systems a plus
