Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems in compliance with NEC and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Perform system upgrades and retrofits on industrial and commercial facilities
- Execute emergency repair services during weekend shifts with minimal downtime
- Conduct thorough safety inspections and document all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely weekend shift completion
- Maintain inventory of electrical components and tools
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Texas Electrician Journeyman License
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Expertise in reading complex blueprints and technical schematics
- Proven experience with weekend shift scheduling and reliability
- Strong diagnostic skills for high-voltage systems (480V+)
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure weekend scenarios
