Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics to execute precise electrical work
- Conduct thorough inspections using diagnostic tools to identify electrical faults
- Ensure strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Collaborate with project managers to meet weekend shift deadlines efficiently
- Document work orders and maintain detailed service records
- Respond to emergency electrical calls during weekend shifts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Illinois Journeyman Electrician license required
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong diagnostic skills with troubleshooting complex electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
