Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications accurately
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Lead weekend shift teams, coordinating tasks and ensuring project deadlines are met
- Conduct system inspections and provide detailed reports to management
- Maintain inventory of materials and tools for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid New Mexico Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- Proven expertise with troubleshooting complex electrical systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to work independently and lead weekend shift teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
