Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential settings
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications for complex projects
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Louisiana regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
- Supervise junior electricians and coordinate with other trades
- Conduct safety inspections and implement hazard prevention measures
- Manage inventory and equipment maintenance at job sites
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana electrician license (Master/Journeyman)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Expertise in reading technical schematics and building plans
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to work weekends and occasional overtime as needed
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
