Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure strict compliance with California Electrical Code (CEC) and OSHA standards
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using advanced testing equipment
- Coordinate with contractors and clients to ensure project timelines
- Manage inventory and order necessary electrical materials
- Maintain detailed work documentation and safety records
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proficiency with troubleshooting tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes)
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Physical stamina for climbing ladders and confined spaces
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
