Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices on assigned projects
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and clients to project specifications
- Complete detailed documentation for completed work and inspections
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Electrician Journeyman license
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in conduit bending, wiring, and circuit installation
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
