Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with construction teams on project timelines and requirements
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for projects
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with clients
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois electrician license (journeyman or master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to read complex electrical schematics and blueprints
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
