Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures throughout residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure all electrical systems meet local and national safety codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems efficiently and safely.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, or other components.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety regulations and company standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining work details and answering client questions.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring codes, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
