Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for project execution
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety protocols
- Mentor junior electricians and provide on-the-job training as needed
Qualifications
- Valid electrician license in Illinois or North Carolina (state-specific requirements)
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable electrical experience
- Proficiency with electrical tools, testing equipment, and safety protocols
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
