Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in compliance with NEC and local codes
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts and installation specifications
- Perform inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure safety and functionality
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and clients to meet project requirements
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
- Document work activities and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and local regulations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments (heights, confined spaces)
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
