Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures according to safety codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts and installations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Valid State of Nevada Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification.
- High School Diploma or GED; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights, and lift heavy materials.
