Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and wiring in accordance with safety codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician license (or equivalent experience).
- High school diploma or GED; technical trade school certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and circuitry.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and climb ladders.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
